Following the latest government advice with regards to face coverings -

If you are exempt please do not ask your doctor for a letter.

There is no requirement for evidence for exemption. It is sufficient for you to self-declare this.

If you wish to travel on public transport:

You can download and print a card and carry it with you. You may want to print it and wear it on a lanyard or attach it to your clothing. You can show it if you are asked why you are not wearing a face covering. You can also display it on your phone.

This is available on the Transport for London website below

Dr Knox

We are sad to be saying goodbye to Dr Ramona Knox.

Dr Knox is moving to the Midlands with her family and we will miss her greatly. Dr Knox has been a highly valued member of the team.

We wish Dr Knox and her family all the very best.

If you are a patient of Dr Knox you will be reallocated a new GP but not until the pandemic level is lower – at the moment as I hope you appreciate it is all hands to the deck. We do recommend that you try to see the same GP for continuity. More on new appointment availability coming soon.

Travel Vaccinations

global air travel

We are a Yellow Fever Centre and can offer this to anyone - you do not need to be registered with the practice to receive this.

All other travel advice and vaccinations are only available to our registered patients. If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to complete the questionnaire below and submit it to us 6 weeks before your travel date. One of our practice nurses will contact you within 2 weeks to discuss your travel arrangements. Although the form has some mandatory fields you should complete as much as you can, including which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to help the nurses determine what vaccinations are required.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below.

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

As stated above, it is important to submit your questionnaire as early as possible before you travel, as a second appointment may be required with the practice nurse to a receive some or all of the vaccinations. Some of these vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

If you are travelling within the next 6 weeks you will need to attend a private travel clinic to receive your vaccinations.
